Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Meet our local leader Mingmar, at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel. You will have a good rest at the hotel. You may explore the city. There are many restaurants in Thamel for dinner. If you feel tired you may eat in the hotel and catch up for the trek ahead.ACCOM:HOTEL - 1
Day 2:KTM Sightseeing
Today we will start our half day tour. Our tour guide and driver will be waiting at the hotel lobby to pick you up for the tour. We will explore the famous Buddhist stupa "The Bauddhanath" that is called "Little Tibet" as well as the famous Hindu temple the Pashupatinath. After this we will drive to Shyambunath ("Monkey Temple") then on to Thamel for lunch. After lunch we will walk through Kathmandu "Darwar Square". Our tour will be finished here allowing you to walk back to Thamel or perhaps a rickshaw back to the hotel.ACCOM:HOTEL - 1
Day 3: Drive to Pokhara
We will take a tourist bus to Pokhara. It will take about 7 hours to get by bus. The total road distance is only 200 km (about 165 miles). The drive is very beautiful. We drive through Nepali countryside along famous white water rafting river Trishuli. We will drive to Kande and trek about one hour to Australian camp. ACCOM:Lodge- 1
Day 4: Trek to Landruk
From here our trail gradually flattens out to Pothana through Deurali. We will be walking through rain forest with beautiful views of Fish Tail Mountain and others.After lunch we will descend down to Bheri Kharka before our trail goes gradually flat to Landruk where we will spend the night.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 5: Trek to Chomrung
Today we gradually climb up through a beautiful forest. The forest is mixture of Rhododendron, Magnolia, and Oak etc. You may see some wild life today on the way like monkeys, barking deer etc. After walking about 2 to 3 hours we will have lunch at Bhaisi Kharkha. After lunch it will take about 1 and half hour to Chomrung. a small village where few lodges are available.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 6: Trek to Dhovan
Dhovan is a very beautiful place. From there you will see a really good view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, lower Mustang and upper mustang which is the border between Nepal and Tibet.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 7: Trek to MachhapuchhreBase Camp
Today we trek to Macchha Puchere Base Camp. We will be gaining altitude quite a bit today. Walking slowly will help you better to acclimatize. We will be above the tree line. Thereare not many lodges from now on. We will see a really good view of mountains from here too.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 8: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
Today we will trek to Annapurna base camp early in the morning. You will spendwhole afternoon at the ABC. There are not many lodges at ABC as well.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 9: Trek to Bambo Lodge
From now on we will trek back through the same way we came.ACCOM:LODGE
Day 10: Trek to Jinu Danda or New Bridge
Day 11: Trek to Nayapul Bus to Pokhara
This is our last day of trekking. We will trek down to Birathanti and have lunch. After lunch cross the bridge and trek about half hour and take bus ride to Pokhara. You can explore around the lakeside of Pokhara. Tonight we enjoy one of the many fine restaurants available in Pokhara. ACCOM:HOTEL
Day 12: Explore Pokhara
This is our rest day in Pokhara and you have the opportunity of taking an (optional) tour to go to the other viewpoint Sarankot. To go to Sarankot, we will take a taxi about 10 to 15 minutes and than walk about 45 minute to the top of viewpoint. There is also an (optional) chance for the adventurous to go Paragliding over Pokhara lake.ACCOM:HOTEL
Day 13: Departure Pokhara to KTM:
Time for breakfast before our drive to KTM. Ouarzazate is on the way to the ancient fortified city of Ait Benhaddou. Explore the streets of this clay kasbah at a relaxed pace, then have lunch with a meal of delicious couscous. We continue on and arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoonACCOM:HOTEL
Day 14: Leisure day in KTM
Today we have a leisure day in KTM or an (optional) tour to the old capital, Bhaktapur.
