Kathmandu is known as Kantipur, the kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of her devotees from the balcony of her temple residence, Kathmandap-the source of the name Kathmandu. It was allegedly made from the timber of a single tree. Next, on to the Durbar Square area with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient palace of the Nepalese Royalty.
Trip Itinerary
Today you will arrive in Kathmandu international airport. One of our representatives will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Generally, there will not be any tour activities today unless requested. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore “Thamel”. You may have dinner in Thamel choosing one restaurant or go back to your hotel for dinner.
Today our sightseeing will start around 9 or 930 am after breakfast. One of our representatives will introduce the tour guide. Our professional tour guide will take you on the tour and he will look after everything for that day. Today we will visit most important places in Kathmandu like Bhaudhanath (The little Tibet), Pashupatinath (The great Hindu Temple of World), Syambunath (The monkey Temple) and Old royal palace (Kathmandu Darbar Squire). These are all world heritage sights
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your next destination as per your departure time.
