Langtang is a very popular and famous region for trekking and basic mountaineering in Nepal. Langtang region a naturally beautiful with stunning snow caped mountains as well as local culture and customs of different ethnicity. Crossing over Gosaikunda (a famous religious lake) and Helamabus’ Sherpas inhabitant makes this trip memorable and interesting every other day. This region was a famous trade route in ancient time with Tibet and now it is becoming a major port between Tibet/China and Nepal. This trek will commence riding bus or jeep from Kathmandu to Sabrubeshi or Dunche. About 6/7 hours riding will also provide an excellent countryside experience on the trip.
Trip Itinerary
Today we will drive to Sabarubesi by a private transportation. This drive will about about 7 to 8 hours. We will stay overnight in a local lodge.
Today we will start our trek after our breakfast. Our trail goes through some village and mostly through beautiful rainforest.
We will trek to beautiful Langtang village. Our trail goes mostly gradual up hill to Langtang via Goda Tabela. We will stay overnight here.
Langtang is already 3500 meter high so we recommend a day acclimatization day for your safe trip. We can explore the village and do a optional hiking.
Kayanging is a small town which is last village for this route. Today is only half day trekking. We will get here by lunch time and take an easy afternoon.
Today we explore the Kyanging Ri & see the whole Langatang valley range o f Himalayas. After exploring we will back to Kyanging Gompa for the night.
Today we will hike to Langsisa base camp. Langsisa is a very famous peak for introductory mountaineers. We may hike up towards Yala Peak is well. It will depend on your stamina how far you can hike. This a day trip and starts early in the morning and return back to Kyanging for over night again. (Optional)
Our mission of this trip is completed. Now we will head back to Lama hotel and follow the same route that we came.
Hike back to Sabrubesi and overnight.
Today we drive back by our private transport to Kathmandu.
We will transfer to airport for your final departure from Nepal
