Best of Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Annapurna Sanctuary is one of the most beautiful and scenic trekking in the Annapurna region. This trek will take you from rice fields to glaciers. You will walk through beautiful Gurung villages, rice and cornfields. This trek will start nearby Pokhara and ends at Pokhara. You will see a fantastic view of Annapurna Himalayas. You will have another incredible and massive mountain view from Annapurna base camp and Machha Puchere base camp. Annapurna base camp is our last destination. We will trek back from Annapurna BC to Pokhara mostly following the same way we came.

You will have another incredible and massive mountain view from Annapurna base camp and Machha Puchere base camp. Annapurna base camp is our last destination. We will trek back from Annapurna BC to Pokhara mostly following the same way we came.

Day 1st:- Arrival in KTM
Today you will arrive in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will pick you up from the airport and hotel. There are not any activities today. You will have a good rest at the hotel. Depending on your arrival time you may explore the Thamel area and have dinner t in the restaurant there. There are many restaurants in Thamel. If you feel tired you may eat in the hotel, take good rest catching up with the jetlag. 

Day 2nd:- Fly to PKR and drive to Nayapul Trek to Trikhedunga/Ulleri (3 to 4 hours trek) We will take a morning flight to Pokhara. The flight duration will be 30 minutes only. Our guide and porter will pick you up from the airport and then drive to Nayapul. We will start our trek from Nayapul to Treikheduga or Ulleri.

Day 3rd:- Trek to Ghorepani  (4 to 6-hour trek)
Today we will trek to Ghorepani, a small countryside town.  From Trikhedunga to Ulleri is uphill where we have to walk on men made steps. After Ulleri the trail goes gradual flat to Ghorepani. From Ghorepani, you will see a magnificent view of Mt. Dhaulagiri and other mountains. 

Day 4th:- Trek to Tadapani (5 hours)
We will walk to Poon hill early in the morning to see the sunrise view. From Poon Hill, we will see a great panoramic view of mountains and countryside views.  This is a very popular viewpoint for general trekkers and short trekkers. After Poon Hill, we will walk down to the lodge and have breakfast. After breakfast, we will trek to Tadapani. The trail for today goes through the rain forest and gradual up and down with few steps. The last bit right before you get to Tadapani is uphill for 30 minutes.  From Tadapani you will see a good view of Annapurna South and Himchuli.

Day 5th:- Trek to Chomrung/Jinuwa (5 to 6 hour)
Today we will trek to Chomrung or to Jinuwa. From Tadapani our trail goes downhill and then flat to Chomrung. Chomrung is a small town some nice lodges are available.

Day 6th:-  Dovan ( 5 to 7 hour)
Today’s trail goes through rain and bamboo forests.  We will see lots of small streams some waterfalls. We may also see a few wild lives on the way.

Day 7th:- Machapuchhre MBC (3 to 4 hour)
Today is a short day. We will gain quite a bit of altitude. Take it an easy day to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. You can enjoy the great view of the mountains.

Day 8tha:- Annapurna Base Camp ABC (2 to 3 hour)
We will take an easy day today as well. We will leave MBC after breakfast and have lunch at Annapurna Base Camp with the great White Mountain views. You will be surrounded by the Annapurna Mountains and feels like you are an indifferent planet. In the evening enjoy the sunset views which changes colors on the mountain every 5 to 10 minutes.  You will be away from only a couple of miles away from the mountains. Very few people in this world have seen this place.  After seeing the views of ABC, we will forget all the sufferings and pains that you got to get here.

Day 9th:-  Bambo (5 to 6 hour)
We will enjoy the sunrise view and the breakfast at ABC and then we trek back down to Bamboo. Today we will enjoy the sunrise. We will follow the same route till to Chhomrung.

Day 10th:- Jinu danda (5 to 6 hour)
Trek to Jinu through Chhomrung.

Day 11th:- Trek to Nayapul Pokhara (4 to 5 hour)
We will have an early breakfast and leave from here early in the morning. We will follow the Chhomrung River and trek through beautiful villages and rice fields. We will be walking a gradual flat to Nayapul and catch a bus to Pokhara.

Day 12th:-  Fly to KTM
You can take morning flights to Kathmandu or spend the day time in Pokhara and take late afternoon flights to Kathmandu. You can do paragliding, ultra flights, boating in Phewa Lake, Etc. in Pokhara.

Day 13th:-  Final departure
